American Red Cross looking for volunteers for K-State Spring Game

Each fall, the Kansas Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross assists Kansas State University by hosting First Aid Stations at the Wildcats home football games. Volunteers provide minor first aid to those in need and provide supplies that will enable direct assistance to game attendees. Volunteers need to be certified in CPR and First Aid, and can receive training through the Red Cross.

Currently, volunteers are needed to assist on the 2013 team at the Spring Game on Saturday, April 27. To become part of the Red Cross First Aid Station Team, email [email protected] or call at 785-354-9233.

American Red Cross First Aid stations do not replace EMT or paramedic services. These volunteers do not perform advanced medical procedures or transport patients to hospitals.
