The deadline to register to vote in the April 2 city and school election is Tuesday, March 12. New residents of Kansas must provide proof of citizenship and residency to register to vote. It can be a driver’s license, birth certificiate, or passport. Also, if you’ve moved or changed names since the last election, you must re-register by March 12. You will need to provide a driver’s license with the new name or address when you register. The earliest date advance voting can take place is Wednesday, March 13 and ends at noon on Monday April 1.
