Gretchen Oehmke was our guest this past weekend on our KNDY Public Affairs program regarding the Palmer Park playground equipment. Listen to the interview below.
A fundraiser to raise money for new playground equipment at the Palmer Park is underway and they’re just shy of the $30,000 needed for the project.
The new playground will be built this summer if they raise enough funds. Included in the new park plans are five slides, a small climbing wall ladder, swing rings, walking and crawling bridges, plus other climbing areas.
If you would like to make a donation to the park in Palmer, you may send it to the Palmer Playground Project, P.O. Box 61, Palmer, KS 66962. Checks can be made out to the Palmer Playground. If you have any questions, call 785-692-4370 or 785-692-4319.
