On Wednesday, February 27, Washington County Sheriff’s officers and the Kansas Highway Patrol arrested three Marshall County men in Hanover.
Steven Blumer of Marysville was arrested on pending charges of DUI, Aggravated Intimidation of a Witness, Conspiracy to commit Aggravated Battery on Law Enforcement, Criminal Threat, and Transporting an Open Container. William Wilson of Marysville was arrested on pending charges of Conspiracy to Commit Aggravate Intimidation of a Witness and Conspiracy to commit Aggravated Battery on a Law Enforcement officer and Transporting an Open Container. Allen Schmelzle of Axtell was arrested on pending charges of Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Intimidation of a Witness and Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and Transporting an Open Container.
Bond was set at $50,000 each and they were held in Washington County Jail. They all posted their bond for release.
