17 year old arrested in connection with thefts at Cottonwood Beach

The Gage County Sheriff’s Department arrested 17 year old Delbert Caslin of Wymore on Monday in connection with the thefts at Cottonwood Beach near Blue Springs earlier in February.

Through information received from someone witnessing him putting items that matched the description of items stolen at Cottonwood Beach, the Gage County Sheriff’s office was able to get a search warrant and the reported stolen items were found in his garage.

Copper Wiring, power tools, and sporting goods were among the items recovered.

Caslin was charged with burglary, false reporting, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
