Future of B & B School to Be Decided March 20

The future of the Baileyville B&B school district will be decided at a special USD 115 Board of Education Meeting on Wednesday, March 20 at the Nemaha Valley High School Gym in Seneca beginning at 6 pm. They are debating three options, the first is having 6th thru 8th grade attend school in Baileyville with the rest of the students going to class in Seneca. The second option is to close the B&B facility completely and option three is to transition closing the Baileyville school over time, starting with the junior high and then eventually the high school. The board will be presented financial information on all three options at their next regularly scheduled meeting on March 11.
