State Wrestling Delayed Due to Winter Storm

The Kansas State High School Activities Association today announced that due to the upcoming winter storm, the 2013 State Wrestling Tournaments will be delayed by 2 hours on Friday, February 22nd. This will impact all sites across the State of Kansas.

Weight in will start at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, with first round competition beginning at noon. The second round will begin 15 minutes after the conclusion of the first round.

Derek Nester was born and raised in Blue Rapids, and graduated from Valley Heights High School in May of 2000. He attended Cowley College in Arkansas City and Johnson County Community College in Overland Park studying Journalism & Media Communication.
