KNDY AM 1570/FM 94.1 & FM 95.5 – Marysville, KS
The City of Seneca was able to purchase the final tracts of land needed to complete Branch Street. They were able to acquire the five tracts of land from Seneca Motel owner Richard Ayres of Casper, WY for $17,700. The city plans to extend Branch Street a half mile from 11th Street to Community Drive plus build a connecting street to Highway 36 with a left-lane turn and acceleration and deceleration lanes. KDOT is funding two million dollars of the extension through a transportation enhancement grant.
