A two vehicle accident sends 3 people to the hospital in a semi/pickup collision south of Washington Tuesday morning.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Report, Merle Gross of Washington and his wife Olinda were southbound on Highway K-15 driving their 1999 Ford pickup when a 1993 Mack Truck, driven by
Troy Koch of Home, was eastbound on Highway K-9 and he did not yield the right of way for the Gross vehicle.
All three were taken to the hospital by Washington EMS, Linn EMS, and one by LifeStar Helicopter. The report did not say if anyone was wearing their seatbelt.
