41 coal cars jumped the tracks southeast of Fairbury early Sunday morning around 1 a.m. The Union Pacific said that the train was eastbound pulling 142 cars total. No one was injured in the incident and the Union Pacific was working with heavy machinery to clean up the crash site. The cause for the derailment is unknown at this time and it’s unclear how long the clean up will take.
