School Board Positions up for Election in April

A reminder those wishing to file for the April City and School election need to do so by noon Tuesday, January 22nd. Positions up for election on the county school boards, with who is the current board member, include, for Marysville, USD 364, Position 4, Jada Ackerman of Marysville, position 5, Michelle Reinhart of Marysville, and Position 6, Sandy Wilson of Beattie. For Valley Heights, USD 498, Postion 4, Sharon Osborne of Blue Rapids, Position 5, Chris McNary of Waterville, and Position 6, Kenny Steinfort of Blue Rapids. Vermillion, USD 380, Position 4, Lonny Hardwick of Frankfort, Position 5, Robert Mitchell of Frankfort, and Position 6, Randy Elliott of Havensville. The list of town members and the positions open will be listed in an upcoming newscast.

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY.
