New Year’s Babies have arrived!

It took less than a week for all three area hospitals to have their First baby of the New Year arrive. Community Memorial Hospital in Marysville only had to wait about 6 hours for the new bundle of joy to arrive, as Abigail Elizabeth Arroyo made her appearance at 6:05 a.m. on New Year’s Day. She weighed in at 7 lbs, 2 oz. Her parents are Lindsay Fallwell and Cody Arroyo of Axtell. Grandparents are Deborah Fallwell of Washington, Carlos Arroyo of Axtell, and Anita Arroyo of Fairbury, NE. Dr. Joe Hawkins delivered Abigail.

Harlea Mae Thies was born just after midnight on January 3rd at Beatrice Community Hospital, weighing in at 7 lbs, 3 oz and 20 inches long. Her parents are Andy and Kristie Thies of Sterling, NE.

Aaron Cardenas Munoz, arrived at 8:25 Monday morning at the Washington County Hospital, weighing in at 7 lbs, 4 oz, and was 21 inches long. His parents are Manuel Cardenas and Maria Munoz of Linn.

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY.
