Clean Line Energy Partners has scheduled several area open house meetings so that community members and landowners can learn more about the Grain Belt Express Clean Line energy transmission project. In our area meetings are planned in Marysville on Tuesday February 12 from 5 to 7 pm at the American Legion. In Washington, the meeting will be on Monday February 11 from 5 to 7 pm at Mayberry’s Restaurant and in Seneca, the meeting will be held on Tuesday February 12 from 7 to 9 am at the Seneca Community Building. At each meeting, Clean Line will discuss potential routing options for the high-voltage direct current electric transmission line project and also allow for community feedback. The Grain Belt Express Clean Line is a 700 mile overhead, high voltage direct current transmission line that will deliver 3,500 megawatts of low-cost wind power from Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and states further east.
