Program on Orphan Train in Blue Rapids This Weekend

There’s going to be a free program at the Blue Rapids Museum this Saturday, January 26 starting at 2 pm about the Orphan Train, which ran on the Central Branch railroad.  A short video will be shown, Melva Sanner will do a
re-enactment of Anna Laura Hill, a placement agent for the Orphan Train, and Pat Osborne, President of the Historical Society, will speak about society’s needs to place children in the west.  Refreshments will be served.
