The USD 115 Nemaha Central Board of Education is seeking input on the Baileyville B&B Jr-Sr High school with the board of education expected to make a decision in March. The three options they are looking at are, Option
1, having grades pre-Kindergarten thru 5th grade attend the Seneca facility and 6th thru 8th go to Baileyville. Option 2 is closing the Baileyville facility completely and having all students attend facilities in Seneca, and Option 3 is to transition over a period of time, closing the Baileyville Junior High and then eventually the Baileyville High School. The board will be gathering input from teachers, students, parents, and patrons. Community meetings will be held to gather more information between the end of January and the end of February.
