Advocate’s Annual Recipe Contest Deadline is Friday

The Marysville Advocate’s annual recipe contest cookbook will be published in February and they’re looking for your favorite recipes. However the deadline to submit them is Friday. Recipes will be judged and finalists will be invited to bring their dish to a tasting luncheon with contest judges. To enter your recipes, contact JoAnn Shum at the Advocate at 562-2317 or email her at jshum@marysvilleonline.net. The annual cookbook will run in the February 28 edition of the Advocate.

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY.
