Home, Kan. — Jan. 14, 2013 — The Board of Directors of Blue Valley Tele-Communications, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Thomason as BVTC’s general manager and chief executive officer effective Jan. 1, 2013. Thomason brings more than 32 years of relevant industry experience to his new role.
“We welcome Brian’s experience and leadership to the BVTC family,” said Terry Force, board president. “With many changes occurring at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), BVTC finds itself at a critical moment; needing renewed leadership in order to successfully implement our strategy for future growth opportunities. Brian is a visionary with a proven track record of execution. He is a strong communicator who is customer focused with deep leadership capabilities. Furthermore, with 32 years of experience in the telephony industry, Brian has a solid understanding of not only our products and services but also our mission.”
Thomason holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. He and his wife Rebecca are relocating from central Indiana; however, their original home was in Southern Illinois. They have two grown daughters.
