City Council Positions up for election in the city and school election for this year include, in Marysville, Mayor, Treasurer, and 4 council members. Bill Phillipi is the current mayor, Ken Kickhaefer is Treasurer and Council members are Bud Schuette in Ward 1, Bob Shipman in Ward 2, Charlie Schwindamann in Ward 3, and Liz Doll in Ward 4.

Axtell will elect a mayor and 2 city council members, Blue Rapids will elect 3 city council members, which are currently held by Jon Brake, Robert Roepke, and Jerry Pope. And Frankfort will elect a mayor and 2 city council members, which are currently held by Sharon Owen, who is Mayor, and Dave Younger and Larry Swanson on the city council.
