City of Beatrice Has to Make Snow Removal Decisions

With recent snowfalls, Beatrice officials have had to make some critical decisions in regard to clean up. Salt and sand will be laid primarily by yield and stop signs as well as on highways passing through town. Snow will not be removed from residential roadways unless there is more than 2 inches of snow. These changes were made because the funds being used were spent on road repairs over the summer months from the intense heat tearing up local roadways.
