Winter Ranch Management Seminar coming up soon

The K-State Winter Ranch Management Seminar is held annually by broadcasting speakers to multiple locations across Kansas at the same time.  This year it will be held January 8th with nine different locations, the closest ones to RVED being held at the Manhattan campus and the Astra Bank in Belleville, KS.  This year’s topics will be Protection and Restoration of Forage and Range Resources, Donnel Brown with the Ranch Spotlight, Dr. Rick Funston with Heifer Development and Fetal Programming, and Tips and Tools to Reach your Management Goals.  The program will start at 4:30 pm and run through 8:30 pm, including dinner.  Please RSVP to your local extension office by January 2nd

About Kevin Rippe

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY. You can hear Kevin on daily news reports, as well as calling area high school football and basketball. Kevin lives in Marysville with his wife Melissa, and 4 children Brennen, Jacob, Bailee, and Joshua.
