Bull Buying Questions to Be Answered Jan. 18th

As the spring bull-buying season approaches, make sure you are ready to make the best genetic decisions for your operation.  With EPD’s (Expected Progeny Differences) on so many characteristics, how do you know what is most important for your operation?  What are selection indexes and genomically-enhanced EPD’s?  On January 23^rd there will be an EPD and Genetics School held at the Clay Center 4-H Building to answer these questions and give cattle producers new information on how to evaluate the genetics of their herd relative to their operational goals.  Dr. Bob Weaber, K-State’s Cow/Calf Specialist, will be presenting starting at 4:45 pm.   Please RSVP by January 18^th.
