Gage County Courthouse May Be Limited to One Side Entrance

Courthouse entrance at the Gage County Courthouse in Beatrice could be limited to just the east side.  This after the bomb threats to several southeast Nebraska courthouses on November 2^nd.  Visitors would have to pass through security as they came in.  There would have to be modifications done, such as creating a wider pathway to the doors and installing a roof to keep the security station out of the elements.  The Gage County Sheriff’s office would provide security.  The Gage County Supervisors will continue to examine this option.
