Washington County Hospital Projects Passes

The hospital project in Washington County passed by a 2-1 vote Tuesday.  Nearly 50% of the registered voters turned out to vote for the project.  66% voted yes while 33% voted no.  As part of the project, the existing hospital will be remodeled into the new clinic and a wing will be added to the west end of the existing facility.  The Washington County Commissioners will canvass the election results next Monday at 8:30 a.m. prior to their weekly meeting.
