Dallas Brass in Marshall County Next Week

The Marshall County Arts Cooperative is bringing in a brass ensemble, just over a week after it had a 2 time Grammy winning string quartet. The group, Dallas Brass, will be in Marysville next Tuesday and Wednesday and will present a free concert at 7 pm Wednesday evening in the Marysville High School Auditorium to wrap up their residency here. Also at the free concert, the Marysville Junior and Senior High Bands will be featured. Prior to that, the ensemble will do workshops for the Marysville and Axtell Band students on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY.
