Beatrice City Council Turns Down Resolution

The Beatrice City Council turned down a resolution that would have allowed 30 minute loading and unloading zones on the north side of Court Street between 10th and 11th Street.  The main reason was the high risk of crashes because of sight obstruction.  A motion was made to allow a loading and unloading zone from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m., but that also was turned down by a 3-4 vote.  The original resolution was then voted down by a 7-0 vote.
