Gage County Authorities and rescue workers responded to a report of a semi tipped over along U.S. highway 77 late Friday morning. According to reports, road markings showed that the truck was southbound on Highway 77 when he crossed the northbound lanes and slid into a cornfield. The driver of the truck, who was not identified, was walking around the truck and appeared to be bleeding from the head with a cut to the forehead. He was taken to Beatrice Community Hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries.
