BVTC Giving Tree Program
Blue Valley Tele-Communications (BVTC) of Home, Kans. is sponsoring its annual Giving Tree program again this year. The program, in its 17th year, is designed to provide Christmas assistance to local families who are less fortunate.
Trees with the wishes and needs of children and their families have been placed throughout the BVTC service area. Cards may be selected at the following locations:
Blue Valley Tele-Communications, Home; Citizen’s State Bank, Community Memorial Healthcare, and United Bank & Trust, Marysville; Hoffman Farm Supply, Blaine; Farmers’ State Bank, Westmoreland; Mo’s Stop-n-Shop, Linn; Community Healthcare System, Onaga; Vermillion State Bank, Vermillion; Classic Café, Summerfield; US Post Office, Centralia; Palmer Café, Palmer; United Bank & Trust, Beattie; and United Methodist Church, Frankfort.
Gifts are asked to be purchased, wrapped, and returned to the trees on or before December 12 so that BVTC employees can organize and make deliveries to the families prior to Christmas. Monetary donations are also welcome and can be mailed to BVTC ATTN: Giving Tree program, 1559 Pony Express Hwy., Home, KS 66438. Questions may be directed to Jada Ackerman at 877-876-1228
