BVTC Giving Tree Program underway

BVTC Giving Tree Program       

Blue Valley Tele-Communications (BVTC) of Home, Kans. is sponsoring its annual Giving Tree program again this year. The program, in its 17th year, is designed to provide Christmas assistance to local families who are less fortunate.

Trees with the wishes and needs of children and their families have been placed throughout the BVTC service area. Cards may be selected at the following locations:

Blue Valley Tele-Communications, Home; Citizen’s State Bank, Community Memorial Healthcare, and United Bank & Trust, Marysville; Hoffman Farm Supply, Blaine; Farmers’ State Bank, Westmoreland; Mo’s Stop-n-Shop, Linn; Community Healthcare System, Onaga; Vermillion State Bank, Vermillion; Classic Café, Summerfield; US Post Office, Centralia; Palmer Café, Palmer; United Bank & Trust, Beattie; and United Methodist Church, Frankfort.

Gifts are asked to be purchased, wrapped, and returned to the trees on or before December 12 so that BVTC employees can organize and make deliveries to the families prior to Christmas. About Kevin Rippe

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY. You can hear Kevin on daily news reports, as well as calling area high school football and basketball. Kevin lives in Marysville with his wife Melissa, and 4 children Brennen, Jacob, Bailee, and Joshua.
