Tuttle Creek is now more than 11 feet below its normal pool elevation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers wants to remind the public of activities that are prohibited on the newly exposed lake bed. Common violations include driving along the shoreline, disturbing historic or cultural resource sites, and using metal detectors outside of the lake’s park areas. Persons caught doing any of these activities are subject to both citations and fines. If you have any questions, call the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at 785-539-8511.
