Two Benefit Soup Dinners Planned For Saturday

Washington Fire Department will host a benefit soup dinner Saturday at 5 pm for Troy Miller, local firefighter and carpenter who fell and broke both his wrists recently.  The dinner will be at the Washington Firehouse.  Donations are also being accepted for the Troy Miller Family, which includes 6 children.

The Barnes Fire Department is hosting a benefit soup dinner Saturday evening at the firehouse with proceeds towards Community Education in CPR, First Aid, and Defibralator.

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY.
