Marysville Chamber having 1st ever Gingerbread House Contest

The Marysville Chamber of Commerce is having it’s first ever Gingerbread House Contest at the Lee Dam Center for Fine Art.  Entries need to be turned in on Friday November 23rd from 5-7 p.m. at the Center.  Entries will be on display for the public to vote on People’s Choice Award on Saturday, November 24th and then will remain on display through Saturday December 1st.  Christmas Stockings – Past and Present will also be on display  during that time.  If you’d like to have a Christmas Stocking on display, bring it and any story you may have about the stocking to the Marysville Chamber of  Commerce office by Monday November 19th.  If you have any questions, please call Brenda at the Chamber office at 562-3101.

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY.
