Hollenberg Pony Express Having Christmas Open House Dec. 1st

The Kansas Historic Society has announced that the Hollenberg Pony Express Station State Historic Site, just northeast of Hanover, will host a Christmas Open House on Saturday December 1st from 6-8 p.m.

Activities will include Christmas tree decorating, caroling, popping corn over a wood stove, and Santa and Mrs. Clause will visit at 7 p.m.  The event is being sponsored by the Kansas Historical Society and the Friends of Hollenberg Station.

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY.
