Water Plant improvement underway in Marysville

The first phase of the water plant improvement plan is underway in Marysville.  This week they started putting down new 10 inch waterline across from the Marysville water tower on Highway 36 and it will extend from 17th Street westward to 14th Street.  There is a water line currently running under Highway 36 and this project will eliminate that.  There will also be some modifications done at the water plant and water tower and bids will be taken next spring for the next step in the process, which includes repainting the water tower itself.
