3 Rivers To Close Area Offices By December 31st

3 Rivers Inc, a non-profit organization headquartered in Wamego will close it’s offices in Seneca, Clay Center, Manhattan, and Topeka by December 31st.

Some of the services they provide will be provided by managed care organizations, as the State of Kansas transitions into the KanCare Program, beginning in January.

The KanCare health plans are Amerigroup of Kansas, Inc; Sunflower State Health Plan; and United Healthcare Community Plan of Kansas.

3 Rivers will provide some of the services, but not all.  Anyone with questions on what services they will still provide may call 800-555-3954.

Derek Nester was born and raised in Blue Rapids, and graduated from Valley Heights High School in May of 2000. He attended Cowley College in Arkansas City and Johnson County Community College in Overland Park studying Journalism & Media Communication.
