Christmas Celebrations Planned in Area Communities Saturday

Christmas celebrations are planned for Saturday evening in area communities. Summerfield Community will host a soup dinner at the Classic Café from 5-7 and the Transue Brothers Blacksmith Shop will be open beginning at 5 featuring Pioneer Christmas Décor, to include a live lighting of the tree at 7 and 8 pm.

The Hollenberg Station State Historic Site northeast of Hanover will host their annual Old Fashioned Christmas Saturday evening from 6-8. Featuring tree decorations and refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Clause arrive at 7. For details go online kshs.org/hollenberg.

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY.
