Man-Hunt Continues For Rural Cortland Man

William Price

A man-hunt continues for 43 year old William Price of  rural Cortland, NE.  Police were called to the house south of Cortland Friday evening after his wife called authorities saying he had a gun.  Price’s wife escaped unharmed and authorities surrounded the house overnight.  They believe he fired 20-30 shots inside the home and they also think he left before authorities arrived as a Nebraska State Patrol robot was sent into the house Saturday morning and did not find him.  He’s believed to be driving a gray 2007 Honda Pilot.  If seen, contact your local law enforcement as he is believed to be armed and dangerous.
