Hanover Graduate Honored By SCC

The Southeast Community College Action Committee of Beatrice Chamber of Commerce presented two program Student of the year awards at their September meeting. The names were released over the weekend. One of the students winning the award was Denise Hertz of Washington. She was named the Practical Nursing Program Student of the Year. She is the daughter of Jerry and Diann Elliott of Washington. Hertz is a 2002 graduate of Hanover High School, is married and has 2 daughters, ages 8 and 5.
