Two – one vehicle accidents occurred in Nemaha County over the Thanksgiving Weekend. The first accident occurred Friday afternoon about 2:20, 3/5 miles northwest of Wetmore. Henri L. Sellars, age 37, of Alamogordo, NM was southbound on W road and after passing a vehicle, she lost control, left the roadway on the east-side and struck a guardrail, coming to rest in a creek. Sellars was taken to Stormont Vail in Topeka with injuries unknown. She was not wearing her seat-belt.
The other accident in Nemaha County occurred Saturday afternoon at about 2:40. Erick Enneking, age 16 of Seneca was driving a 2002 Chevy Avalanche on K-63 about 3 miles south of Seneca, when he left the roadway, over-correcting and causing the vehicle to leave the roadway again. It traveled down the embankment and rolled, coming to rest on its top. Eric escaped without injury. His passenger, 14 year old Dylan Enneking, the third, was not wearing his seat-belt and suffered some possible injuries requiring a trip to the Nemaha County Community Hospital.
