Marysville Chamber of Commerce & Marysville Main Street to host celebration

 

The Marysville Chamber of Commerce and Marysville Main Street have joined forces to present A “Merry”sville Christmas.  The event will be a 3-day event on November 23^rd, 24^th & 25^th and include the following:

 

Friday, November 23^rd:

• Most stores open at 7 a.m. with “Black Friday” specials, product sampling & treats
• “Shop at Home & Win!” begins.  Make a purchase at participating businesses and receive a chance to win $100 in Chamber Gift Certificates.
• 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Turn-in time for the 1^st Annual Gingerbread House Contest
• 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Sterling Clark performing at the Wagon Wheel Café
• 7:30 p.m. – M-Act presents “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” at MHS Auditorium

 

Saturday, November 24^th:

• 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – “Christmas Stockings – Past & Present” at the Lee Dam Center for Fine Art.  View a collection of Christmas stockings, old & new, and vote for your favorite for the People’s Choice Award.
• 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Gingerbread House Contest at the Lee Dam Center for Fine Art.  View entries in the contest and vote for your favorite for the People’s Choice Award.
• 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – “Deck the Halls” MHS Art Show & Sale.  View artwork done by MHS students and purchase prints of them.
• 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Christmas Open House with the Koester’s.  Join us at the Koester House Museum to view a display of bird cages owned by the Koester family that are decorated for the holidays and enjoy music from the Koester music box.  Cookies & spiced cider will be served.
• 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Make-It and Take-It Craft Day for children at the Marysville Public Library
• 11 a.m. – Santa’s Christmas Parade
• After the parade – Visit with Santa in his house until 3 p.m.
• 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Stagecoach rides
• 11:30 a.m. – St. Gregory’s Carolers, Marshall County Community Band Small Ensemble & others to perform in front of EnviroTec.
• 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – Sterling Clark performing at the Wagon Wheel Cafe
• Specialty Food Booths
• “ET” matinee at the Astro Theatre.  Admission is $2.00 and supports the Ministerial Alliance Emergency Fund.
• “Shop at Home & Win!” continues
• Most stores open until 5 p.m.
• 7:30 p.m. – M-Act presents “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” at MHS Auditorium

 

Sunday, November 25^th:

 

• 2:00 p.m. – M-Act presents “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” at MHS Auditorium
