Olsburg Resident Killed in Car/pedestrian Accident on K-16

Wesley Esping, 62, of Olsburg was struck by a car and killed in an accident Tuesday evening on Highway K-16 a half mile east of Olsburg in Pottawatomie County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that Esping was checking on a deer that was hit by another vehicle, when Rabern Vawter, 88, of Randolph stuck Esping with a 1998 Ford F-150 pickup. Vawter was not injured in the accident.
