Cold Weather Rule in Effect

The Cold weather rule has taken effect and will remain in effect through March 31^st.  The Cold weather rule prohibits utility companies from disconnecting a customer’s natural gas or electric service during extreme cold periods.  The rule also requires the utility companies to offer a 12 month payment plan that allows cunsumers to maintain or re-establish utility service.
