The 2012 Kansas High School Football Playoffs continue to roll on across Kansas, and Your Country KNDY will keep you informed of all the action as it unfolds with our content partner Kpreps.com.

On-air we continue to follow the Hanover Wildcats as they march towards an 8-Man, Division II State Championship. Saturday they host Colony-Crest for a 3 PM kickoff from Hanover. That game will be live on FM 95.5 KNDY and our website.

About Derek Nester

Derek Nester was born and raised in Blue Rapids, and graduated from Valley Heights High School in May of 2000. He attended Cowley College in Arkansas City and Johnson County Community College in Overland Park studying Journalism & Media Communication. After stops at KFRM and KCLY radio in Clay Center, he joined KNDY in 2002 as a board operator and play by play announcer. Derek is now responsible for the digital content of Dierking Communications, Inc. 6 radio stations.
