Union Pacific Locomotive Stopping In Marysville

Union Pacific Railroad’s Legendary Steam Locomotive Pulling UP 150 Express Train

What: Legendary steam locomotive No. 844 is headed back to Cheyenne to wrap-up the sixth leg of the UP 150 Express tour. Though the next day, the steam locomotive will begin the seventh and final leg of the UP 150 Express, a multi-segment tour celebrating Union Pacific’s 150th anniversary, and sharing the company’s rich history with the communities it serves. No. 844 is headed to Houston, Texas.

Wed., Oct. 10              Rock Springs, Wyo., to Cheyenne, Wyo.
Thurs., Oct. 11            Cheyenne, Wyo., to North Platte, Neb.
Fri., Oct. 12                 North Platte, Neb., to Marysville, Kan.
Sat., Oct. 13                 Marysville, Kan., to Kansas City, Mo.

Why:  No. 844 is traveling 13,000 miles through 15 states as part of Union Pacific’s 150th anniversary celebration.
