Big Blue River Bridge and K-9/us-77 Intersection Set to Open!

PROJECT UPDATE! Weather permitting, by late evening on Wednesday, October 24, the new US-77 Big Blue River Bridge will OPEN to unrestricted traffic in Marshall County. In addition, the reconstructed K-9 and K-77 intersection will reopen to unrestricted traffic.

Demolition of the original bridge still needs to be completed along with pavement striping, clean up and finishing work on the entire project. Thus, there will still be some lane closures as crews complete this project work. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late December 2012.
