Beatrice VFW & Legion To Meet In Same Building

Veterans in Beatrice are merging their groups to create one club that they all can belong to. American Legion Post 27 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1077 will join together and be known as the Veteran’s Club. The Legion Building in Beatrice will be the home base for the group, but each group will remain its own entity with its own rules, by-laws, and constitution, it will just be a way to share a building as the Legion will maintain ownership of the building and be responsible for the liquor license. The VFW will contribute funds through a lease agreement that will help with overhead costs.
