Road Work to Begin in Washington Monday

Crews are scheduled to begin construction at the intersection of 6th and B Street in Washington on Monday, October 22nd, for a street surface and curb/gutter project.

B Street will be closed from 5th Street to Highway 36. 6th Street will be closed from C Street to A Street.

There will be a marked detour coming from the north. The proposed detour is 2nd Street to C Street. Construction is expected to take approximately 50 days.
