Wymore Man Arrested for Domestic Assault.

Trevor M. Hurley of Wymore was arrested for third degree domestic assault, terroristic threats and negligent child abuse following an alleged assault on a woman Tuesday morning.

Beatrice Police were dispatched to Beatrice Community Hospital where a woman reported she had been assaulted by her husband. The woman told police that at approximately 11:30 a.m., Hurley, 22, arrived at a residence in the 1700 block of Monroe Street attempted to take a 19-month-old child.  Hurley allegedly took the child and claimed he was walking to Wymore.  He did not take any necessities for the child with him.

The court documents state the woman continued to argue with Hurley.  Hurley then allegedly shoved her to the ground.  Following that the argument continued and Hurley allegedly grabbed the woman’s hair and forced her to the ground where he reportedly slammed her head against the ground several times.

Hurley was previously convicted of domestic assault on Oct. 24, 2008; third degree assault and domestic assault on Apr. 17, 2012.  Hurley’s bond was set at $10,000 on Friday. Hurley will appear again in court on Oct. 16 at 10 a.m
