Wymore Fireman Remembered

Wymore honored a fallen firefighter Saturday during the annual Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service, typically held in Kearney, but moved to Wymore this year, the 5 year anniversary of the death of Wymore volunteer fireman Jeremy Wach.  Wach entered a burning home in November of 2007, thinking there were people trapped inside.  Wach never came back out.  The service featured speeches from Nebraska Lieutenant Governor Rick Sheehy, Nebraska State Fire Marshall john Falgione, Nebraska State Volunteer Firefighter Association President Dave Heywood and Wach’s widow, Melissa Wach.
