Baldwin City, Kan. — Baker University and Southeast Community College in Nebraska have partnered on an articulation agreement to better assist students planning to continue their education.
The agreement between Baker’s College of Arts and Sciences and Southeast CC, which has campuses in Milford, Lincoln and Beatrice, is designed to improve the transition process for students, enabling them to transfer their credit hours to Baker. While Baker welcomes applications for admission from any student, the agreement pertains to students who earn an Associate of Arts (A.A.) or Associate of Science (A.S.) degree at Southeast.
“We are pleased to reach out to the Southeast Community College campuses and provide more opportunities for the students to continue their education,” said Mark Bandre, Baker’s vice president for enrollment management and student development. “This agreement allows more students in Nebraska to consider pursuing a Baker degree and explore the majors we offer.”
Baker, the first college in Kansas, is a four-year liberal arts university in Baldwin City.
