Washington County Sheriff’s Report

On 080612 on 2nd Street just west of C Street Washington Irene Stamm, Washington driving a 1999 Buick backed from driveway and struck a 2005 GMC owned by Kent Wassenberg, Home.  Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00, no injuries were reported.

On 091212 an officer was dispatched to Bradford Built, Washington for the report of a disturbance.  As a result, Michael Haynes, Washington was arrested on pending charges of Battery and Disorderly Conduct.  Haynes was held at the Washington County Jail until his release on bond.  A report will be forwarded to the county attorney.

On 091512 at 211 West 2nd Street, Washington Martha Mosteller, Washington driving a 2005 Chevrolet backed from driveway and struck a 1995 Chrysler registered to Troy Jensen, Washington.  Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00, no injuries were reported.

On 091612 officers were dispatched to 302 West 2nd Street, Washington for the report of a theft.  Investigation is pending.

On 091612 officers were dispatched to 229 C Street, Washington for the report of a fight.  No arrests were made.

On 091712 on All American Road 1/4 mile north of 15th Road Eric Abts, Dakota City Nebraska driving a 2006 Peterbuilt struck a cow owned by Jay Hynek, Hanover.  Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00, no injuries were reported.

On 091912 officers were dispatched to 311 West 6th Street, Washington for a verbal dispute.  No arrests were made.

On 091912 an officer was dispatched to 221 10th Road for the report of a theft.  Investigation is pending.

On 091912 on K 148 just south of 16th Road, Victoria Parker, Greenleaf was issued a citation for Driving While Suspended.  A report will be forwarded to the county attorney.

On 092112 the Hanover Fire Department was dispatched to 515 South Hollenberg Street, Hanover for a vehicle fire.

On 092112 the Morrowville Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of 25th and Gypsum Roads for a Tractor Fire.
