Washington County Sheriff Reports Several Fires

On September 10th the Hanover Fire Department was dispatched to 2337 County Line Road for a barn fire.

On September 10th on 22nd Road just east of Madison Road Calvin Roop Jr., Washington driving a 2000 STLG, struck a calf owned by John Stigge, Washington.  Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00, no injuries were reported.

On September 10th on US 36 1/4 mile west of Bismark Road, Larry Lovgren, Washington driving a 2008 Dodge struck a turkey.  Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00, no injuries were reported.

On September 10th the Washington Fire Department was dispatched to Short Stop for a fuel spill.

On September 11th the Barnes Fire Department was dispatched to 812 Zenith Road for a fire.

On September 11th the Linn and Palmer Fire Departments were dispatched to 1835 Parallel Road for hay bales on fire.

On September 13th on US 36 at Big Bear Road, Eugene Naegele was arrested on pending charges of Driving While Suspended, No Current Registration, No Proof of Insurance and No Interlock Device as Required on Vehicle.  Naegele was held at the Washington County Jail until his release on bond.  A report will be forwarded to the County Attorney.

On September 14th Debra Miller, Washington served 5 days in the Washington County Jail for a Probation Violation.

On September 16th the Washington Fire Department was dispatched to the 311 East 2nd Street Washington, the Homestead Nursing Home.
